Saturday
We had practise to see how the bike goes and what gearing to run. We had six practise sessions on that day and they all went well until in the second last practise I came out of clearways at brands hatch and high sided at over a hundred m.p.h I was ok but the bike wasn’t I bent the seat Frame smashed the fairings up and ripped my leathers but apart from that the rest of the bike was ok so I did not go out in the last session.

Sunday
Was qualifying and race in the afternoon after lunch break we had our first qualifying session. At the beginning of the session the bike was running ok I went out and I done three laps so I can set my time then I came in and told my dad what the bike was doing and what temp it was running at then I went back out and set a time but after a couple of laps I went out the bike made a very loud rattling noise coming down graham hill so I pulled the clutch in and pulled it to the side I was not very happy and plus I did not know where I qualified until I got back to the garage and my dad told me I qualified 16th with a time of 52.7 I was pleased but not pleased if you know what I mean. so that meant that I had to get a get a good start.

Then it was the super pole race which is if you didn’t get a good qualifying you could get a better place in the super pole. So I started 16th so I had to get a good start I had done 1 lap and I went into paddock hill bend and all of a sudden the bike had seized but luckily I pulled in the clutch before it locked up so I ran on into the gravel pit I was not very happy again but I had a thought that it was going to seas because it had a new piston ring and piston and it was not run in because I didn’t have a practise to run it in. When I came back in my dad and that told me that I was sitting in 8th so that made it even worse.

Monday
Was race day I had two races on Monday and a 10 minuet warm up in the morning. In in the morning warm up I had a new ring and piston in it but at least I had a warm up to run it in this time so I was happy with that then it was race in the first race I was sitting in 8th on the first lap but then it got red flagged because some one crashed out of druids so the race go red flagged so I had to do the same again. In the restart I finished 8th and I got down to a 51.5 so I was pleased with that but during the race my tyre went of so we changed it for the next one.

In the second race I felt more confident because I had an other tyre on so I done the same as what I done in the first race I got a rubbish start so I had to work my way through the pack a few laps in I finally got up into 10th but there was a group of about 6 or 7 riders so I chased and chased them down I finally caught them up with about 5 laps to go I just gradually picked them of one by one I had two laps to go so I had to get a move on. So I took three of them into graham hill bend it was very scary because the bike was moving every where at first I thought I was going to crash but I was confident in my tyres I came round and look at my pit board and I saw 6th place on it then it was last lap I done the same again but it was only one into graham hill bend and I look across from me and I saw one of the leaders had broke down so I new that that was me up into an other place. I came round and took the chequered flag I was really excited because of where I finished. I came with the biggest smile on my face then my friends and my dad told me that I had got 3rd so I was over my head with excitement because that is my best finish of the year and I got down to a 51.4 but I felt like I had put a faster time than that in but I was not caring because I was chuffed. So I was on TV and I got inter viewed it is on TV on Monday the 13th of September on MOTORS
