Hi my name is Jason Douglas and I would like to tell you about my experience at red bull rookies for a chance to race in the Moto GP.

I applied for this with thousands of other kids from all over the world. Out of these thousands there were 39 picked and out of Britain there was 2 picked I was one of them, a massive achievement.

We flew out on Sunday morning and once we got to Italy we went straight to the race track and had a look around . Monday we had to go to the track at night for a meeting to tell us when we have to be at the track on Tuesday and to get our t-shirts and a vest so that they can identify use on track. They also told us what to do when we got there the next day.
Tuesday we had to be at the track before 8:00 we got there and we found out when we will be out on track. In the first session we had to get use to the track and the bike. I was doing good but the bike was not set for my weight and height but I still managed to ride it. Then we had lunch break, after lunch we had two more sessions to prove
Ourselves. In the second session the bike was good better than the first one so I enjoyed that session. The third session my bike was a bit spluttery at low revs but it was going well cause I was getting a tow with someone else who was faster than me but unfortunately the bike caught me out in one of the corners and it spat me of so that was that.
After everyone had all of there sessions we were called to a meeting where the people who were through got called out but I was not picked there was seven of them and none of the Brits got in and none of the Irish did not get in either.
I would just like to thank red bull for the experience to be there

and good luck to all
