Casey Stoner is firmly now back in the hunt for the MotoGp crown following back to back wins at Donington and Assen. Anybody else starting to think that maybe Casey is going to dominate the second half of this season and retain his crown?
yes i dont think we can write stoner off at all now he's looking very strong, its really opened up the championship now and the pressure is on pedrosa and Rossi to stay consistant, really think Rossi needs to win in Germany ,i'm not knocking stoner at all but just wish Rossi hadn't binned it on the openning lap may be it would have made for a much closer race.
Yeah i would say that victories in Donington and Assen have given Casey a chance now. Will be interesting to see how the the next race goes, if it is dominated by Stoner again then you have to give him a real chance and retaining the title
You can rest assure that Vale has lost no sleep over this hiccup!
He's accepted that it was all his own fault ("I think i am a dickhead!" was the comment!) and he's moved on.
It'll have done him a power of good to head back home and take the scooter out to the Misano WSB where he was pretty much incognito!
Stoner is still a full race behind, but he cannot be counted out and Valentino knows that - but at the moment his main focus will be on Dani.
This season has been so much more competitive and exciting than last year, it's great to see Casey coming back into play. Still think Rossi will win this year but there are a few twists and turns left yet !!
yeah i think your right steve a few twists and turns are just what the championship needs, enjoying this years moto gp so much more than last year but would still like to see a 3or 4 way battle at the front during race's instead of one rider be it Rossi,Pedrosa or stoner clear off in to the distance.
what could be better than it going to the final gp in valencia so close that who ever wins the race wins the championship boy would that be the race of year edge of the seat stuff or what !

Britain’s Graeme Gowland debut in the World Endurance Championship nearly ended with the perfect result of a podium on the Phase One Yamaha but less than a minute denied the British team that final podium place.

Teenager Nicole McAleer put the disastrous Oulton Park race weekend firmly behind her when she got a good start of the line at Knockhill during the Relentless 125 GP race; however this wasn’t to be as the race only lasted one lap when two riders collided, both were unhurt.
On the rerun McAleer wasn’t able to [...]
