About Me:
I've raced minimotos for about 8 years now, something we got into simply because riding on the road was getting too dangerous. 'We' is Myself and younger brother Roo aswell as our dad ( Pa ). We hired bikes at a local indoor kart track most weeks for about a year before we started racing, during this time I earned the nick name 'Stacky McCrash' for probably obvious reasons. We raced for 5 years quite happily finishing mid pack in the production class and still merrily throwing 'em down the road. In 2006 we baught 4.2 class bikes and we started to actually improve and win a few things. After a layoff in 2007 due to Chloe's arrival we decided to try something new and moved to the GP 70 class on Jawa Rs70's. In 2008 we are running in the British Low Capacity Road Racing Club GP70 Senior class and hope to have a go at rounds with the NPS and Moped Mayhem as well as few 'propper' track days. Obviuosly as racing goes the above isnt very cool but as I've no wish to race for anything more than a good laugh and to keep my licence clean (and i have to go to work on monday in one piece) the little 70's are more than enough fun : )

Ellough Park round 4

Wet / dry track meant we missed most of Saturdays practice changing wheels :( in dry qualifying (on wets) Roo was 1st I got 2nd, and the same on slicks in the next session. Sunday R1 Roo won and I had to follow him round in 2nd, race 2 just the same, R3 I got a loads better start and more importantly Roo didnt! But 3/4 of the way around lap 1 after taking the lead i crashed. Not a cool high side or even a fast bike wrecker i pretty much fell over at about 15mph with no damage whatsoever. But cos… Continue

Ellough Park Round 2

Saturday went much better although spend the morning practice running in the new barrell, scrubbing new tyres and learning where the corners went! After our first day on the 70's in dry conditions and the first time ever on propper slicks I was on provisional pole! Sunday, quickest again in warm up, race 1 led untill final lap when I slipped up and ran off the track, rejoined to finish 3rd. Race 2 finished 1st after a bad start on cold tyres due to faulty warmers. Race 3 finished 2nd after lead… Continue

Britain’s Graeme Gowland debut in the World Endurance Championship nearly ended with the perfect result of a podium on the Phase One Yamaha but less than a minute denied the British team that final podium place. McAleer bags handful of Academy Cup points at Knockhill

Teenager Nicole McAleer put the disastrous Oulton Park race weekend firmly behind her when she got a good start of the line at Knockhill during the Relentless 125 GP race; however this wasn’t to be as the race only lasted one lap when two riders collided, both were unhurt. On the rerun McAleer wasn’t able to [...]
